What does my One-Time contribution support?
Your one-time contribution helps cover servers, APIs, bandwidth and development so we can keep FREE home Wi-Fi filtering available. It uses FREE membership checkout; new users create a FREE account and complete verification. There is no recurring charge or included Premium benefit. Accounts with paid membership, sponsored access or grace-period access cannot use this route.
Can I support the mission monthly?
Choose Monthly support to become a Patron. Your recurring contribution supports the mission and includes Premium for your household plus Premium memberships to give to other families.
What does my monthly contribution support?
Your recurring Patron membership helps cover operating expenses, including servers, APIs and bandwidth, along with ongoing development. That support helps us continue offering FREE home Wi-Fi filtering to families. Premium for your household and Premium memberships to give are included benefits; your payment supports the service as a whole.
How does the FREE month work?
When the current quote shows one month FREE, a payment method is required and monthly billing begins one month after enrollment. Review your amount due today and recurring total in the selector and at checkout. For billing or cancellation questions, contact FreeFiltering.
Which Premium benefits are included?
Your own household’s Premium membership is included in every Patron option. The number shown in your contribution choice is additional Premium memberships you can give to other families. For example, the 10-membership option includes your household plus 10 other families.
How do I share my included Premium memberships?
Your contribution supports the mission whether or not you’ve chosen recipients yet. To share your included Premium memberships, invite families with your Group Code or select current applicants in the sponsorship tool. The number included is available capacity, not families already matched or using the service. There is no automatic matching. Each family must join and complete setup.
What if I already have a FreeFiltering account?
Choose your monthly contribution, then use the existing sign-in option. Your selection will continue with you. If you’re already a Patron, use your membership-management options to review or change your membership.
Is my payment tax-deductible?
FreeFiltering LLC is a for-profit company, not a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Payments are not charitable contributions deductible for federal income tax purposes.
What setup is required, and what are the limits?
FreeFiltering uses DNS filtering. Each family needs to configure a supported device or network before filtering takes effect. No filter can block all unwanted content. Contact FreeFiltering for setup and compatibility questions, and read the Terms of Use.
How is personal information handled?
FreeFiltering’s Privacy Policy explains how personal information is collected, used, and shared, and states that FreeFiltering does not sell personal information.
