FreeFiltering Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Services operated by FreeFiltering LLC (“FreeFiltering,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
By accessing or using the Services, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and use the Services.
2. Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these Terms or misuse of the Services.
3. The Services
FreeFiltering provides DNS-based internet filtering services. While we strive to provide effective filtering, no system is perfect and we do not guarantee that all unwanted content will be blocked or that all desired content will be accessible.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
Use the Services for unlawful purposes
Attempt to interfere with or disrupt the Services
Circumvent security or filtering mechanisms
Resell or redistribute the Services without authorization
5. Paid Services
Some features may require payment. Billing terms, renewal, and refund policies (if applicable) are presented at the time of purchase.
6. FreeFiltering Mobile Messaging Program
If you opt in to text messages by checking the applicable box during registration (or in your account settings), you agree to receive recurring automated SMS/MMS messages from FreeFiltering LLC (FreeFiltering.org) at the mobile number you provide.
Account & Safety Alerts (optional): If you opt in, messages may include account notifications, service status, security notices, filtering changes, and support updates. Message frequency varies. 7. Intellectual Property
All content, software, and materials provided through the Services are owned by FreeFiltering or its licensors and are protected by law. You are granted a limited, revocable license to use the Services for personal, non-commercial purposes.
8. Disclaimers
THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” FREEFILTERING DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
9. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FREEFILTERING WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES.
10. Termination
We may terminate or suspend access to the Services at our discretion, with or without notice, for violations of these Terms or misuse of the Services.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Services after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
